Sunday, September 26, 2004 la la la went down to fred today, saw the family. *sighs* dinners are annoying when my father wont speak to me still. god is he immature. it takes a lot of patience to sit through dinner, i should get wings JUST for that. my mom constantly kicks me under the table to hold my tongue and not say anything but man...one of these days. grr mom stocked me up on all sorts of yummy goodies she makes and tons of fresh veggies and what not. its like going to the grocery store for free! yay! its nice to see her on a regular basis, i missed her. she seems a lot happier when all of us can come down there on sundays for dinner, even if some arent talking to others. puppy was cute as always..their cat was evil of course. i swear i have never seen a cat be so mean..the only person that she's sweet to is my father and its amazing to watch her just melt when he's around. heh..she'll be in a fit all weekend when zona goes down to stay with them while im gone to birmingham. her and zona dont get along at ALL. steve comes up tuesday! woohoo!! feels like forever since i saw him last. it will be nice to see him and get some time with him. this time around we already have some plans on what we want to do, so we wont sit around restless in the apt all week. we're going down to fred on friday to drop zona off and than getting some wings at BW3's because thats the closest one in the area. we both miss our tuesday night wings and poker. hmm that reminds me, i should try to get in touch with sarah and james too. on saturday we're hoping to spend the day in dc. i have to go to an information session at the library of congress for the national book festival because i signed up to volunteer. since i have to be there we thought of making a day around it, being tourists and visiting some of the great museums around. hopefully the weather will be nice and cooperate with us. sunday i leave for birmingham and this years BAM seminar. should be interesting i guess, not really looking forward to it but i dont really have a say in it. work is still work...not much to say about that. i really do want to find something else, something that i will look forward to doing every day. i have some things in mind but gotta wait them out for a bit and get some further information. getting ready to sign up for classes and have to figure out how to transfer everything to gmu for the spring. my apt actually looks decent now...its shocking. that makes a difference believe it or not..so im happy that i got motivated and finally got it together. its not all perfect but i want to wait for some things when steve moves out here, that way it will be "our" apt and not just mine. hmm i think thats it for now...maybe this will motivate others :::cough::: to update thier journals as well. miss all of you!! we need to plan visits!!! lilwolf 9:48 PM
