Tuesday, November 18, 2003 i actually went out today and stopped hiding. met trena and carly at the mall for some shopping goodness. it was a lot of fun. we all realized we're bad influences on each other and i should probably never shop with them again. they did (actually trena) stop me from buying this really nice jacket i wanted at Gadzooks. though im afraid that before the week is over i will own it and be able to call it my own. but im jumping...we got there at 11..i was running late, of course, and we just started walking around. Carly evidently was late too and for the same reason as i was, both of us were watching dawsons creek and we didnt want to leave. guilty pleasure..we both like the show so i had to clue her in on some of the stuff that she had missed. heh, i remember when bethy and i were glued to that show ever week at 8pm and the episode where joey and pacey finally kissed, lol, we went nuts. *sighs* those were the days... anyways back to the mall. our first stop was the gap to see what they had. i of course go directly to the jackets because for some reason im OBSESSED with all kinds of jackets, coats, long sweaters. if they had a group for this i would be in it, because seriously i need serious help with it. they had a really cute coat but it was close to a hundred dollars and i wasnt really ready to spend that much money so i put it back, after trying it on of course. trena and i hit the sales rack while carly was drooling over jean skirts (an obsession of hers) and we found these really cool velour comfy pants for carly. she really liked how they felt so she tried them on and bought them, i mean it was only seven dollars. how often can you find something in the gap for seven dollars?? we all walked around touching all the soft stuff, its the season for that and its one of my favorite things about winter. soft, warm fabrics that you can just hide in. our next mistake was going into the shoe department! carly is cleary a shoe freak and so am i. trena wasnt doing that well either. we walked around and each found a pair of shoes that we really liked. I of course found 3 but restrained myself and bought a really nice comfy pair of steve maddens. all black and no heel, they'll make great work shoes. i also found really hot brown boots that i want to go back and get, maybe when i go get my jacket. the third pair were these cute lil clog like shoes, you know the ones with no back? they looked really nice under a pair of jeans, all 3 were on sale so most likely ill get the other two..maybe on next pay day. im just happy to have left the store with one pair, trena and carly both bough pairs too. carly got shoes similar to mine but with zippers on them, really cute. trena walked out with these adorable suede leather clogs...very nice. all on sale mind you! after all that we were all saying we werent buying anything anymore but that was before i got to Deb. I wanted to buy some work shirts and ended up buying several there. I like the store because you can get a lot of clothes for lil price and you dont really have to worry about the shirts too much. I dont mind wearing them to work and getting coffee on them by accident or what not because i didnt spend my left leg for it. we also walked into victoria secrets..mmm. i love that store. they had this gorgeous babydoll for 48 dollars..so cute, but who am i going to wear it for? *sighs* i just love walking around the store and thinking about all the pretty stuff. our final stop was gadzooks...*sighs* that would be the home of my gorgeous cord jacket. it was 70 dollars but with 20 off. they had quite a few and the sale is on till the end of the month so i put it back and promised myself i would think it over first. it was sooo warm and comfy..ahh so tempting to buy. i had to leave so i wouldnt get it. Carly ended up buying this cute t-shirt that had the tootsie roll owl on it with the saying 27 licks on it and t-shirt for her sister that said boys are stupid, throw rocks at them. haha best shirt ever, i got one for corey last year like that. after all that we ushered ourselves out of the mall. we went to el grand rodeo for lunch! mm yummy food, hadnt been there in awhile. it was nice to hang out with both them, they kept my mind off things, especially carly. you cant really hang out with her and not smile! i than dragged them (since i was elected chauffeur) to target where i got the extended version of two towers. yay, im planning on watching that later tonight. see all in all i socialized!!! no one can yell at me anymore about hiding in my apt and being down. i went out and even smiled!! at 5 im suppose to be going to wing night with everyone, i fear if i try to skip it people will hunt me down *coughs*tarasteven*coughs* so im forcing on a smile and going. so now i must clean my apt since i just procrastinated by writing all this. meg is coming down friday and my apt is a wreck!! today will be the last day i have a chance to clean it. so off i go...yeah...clean..woohoo....*sighs* sorry for the length of this..im sure it will satisfy those who yell at me for being too short and vague. enjoy! lilwolf 3:40 PM
