Tuesday, December 03, 2002 so the accident drama continues. went to see thomas last night at work and we got to talking about my right hand that really hurt. he noticed that it was yellow compared to the other one and told me i really should get it checked out, especially since each day it was hurting more than getting better. so first thing this morning i go to the doctor to check it out. blah..i hate doctors. well..told the doc what was hurting and what felt odd so she took a bunch of xrays on my hand and wrist. turns out there was something lodged in my hand...a piece of glass. yeah..how great is that! so they immediately sent me to this plastic surgeon to go get it removed. lets say that was when i got freaked...i thought id get a chance to deal with it but no.they send me right away. i called thomas and woke him up *IM SORRY* and asked if he would go with me and since he's great he said sure. he even missed class..i felt horrible. so we get there and he does minor hand surgery to get it out. it sucked...my hand was numb but i could feel everything..it was the most uncomfortable feeling in the world. he got the chunk of glass out but he told me that it had ripped some cartilage and the covering that protects the tendon. he used some huge medical word for it but i cant even remember how to say it much less spell it. so i gotta go back in a week to get the stitches out and if my hand doesnt feel better by then they might have to work on fixing the cartilage. BLAH. ill just lie and say it all feels good....i dont want to go through all that again. im not complaining though...it could have been a lot worse...so im trying to just suck it up and deal. just getting frustrating cause my hand just feels odd and it hurts to use it. *sighs* i guess time right now is the only thing that will help. i got the pics of my car back so here they are...not great pics but i was a bit shaky still when i took them. i dont even know why i took them..seemed like the right thing to do....so here they be.  back of car  front of car lilwolf 6:34 PM
