Wednesday, June 12, 2002 my oh my its been awhile since ive posted to this. its been actually a really busy week or so, either that or ive been so emotionally drained i havent been up to posting. so now where to start where to start. oh yeah..my birthday. I had the best birthday ever. the morning started of with adam, carolyn and i going to the river...it was really fun. it was the first river trip all summer and i hope i get to go again soon. hehe the water was kinda low and adam got a lil friendly with all the rocks we had to go over. it was really peaceful, im glad we ended up going. when we got back we all went to lunch at el rodeo. mmmm yum. i fielded calls from all my friends and family wishing me a happy birthday, it was really great. at around 9:30 i hooked up with meg and we went downtown to meet chris and corey at sharkeys. OMG what a great night!!!! we bumped into travis and lisa down there and a bunch of other friends, minus the bar staff there, and everyone bought me a drink. i couldnt walk anywhere without someone yelling happy bday to me, it was really great. Minus the fact that bethy, katie and jacob werent there...i spent my birthday with all my closest friends. They made my bday so special that i will never forget it. I got gifts from tracy, lynn and corey...hugs from everyone..it was just great. By the time i got home from sharkeys i was extremely drunk and happy and ready to call it a successful 23rd bday. THANKS GUYS!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! so you think my bday would have ended then..nooooo. two days later adam and carolyn call me and ask me to get home cause they have a gift they want to give me. I get home and oh my god they were so amazing. they had baked me this chocolate cake that they frosted and wrote happy bday munkey on it, put candles on it and then came out of the kitchen singing happy bday. I almost cried when they did that..it had been forever since i had candles and been sung too!! after eating some cake i opened my 6 gifts they got me!!! they got me all my favorite chocolates and sweets and a GIGANTIC box of fireworks and a box of 3ft long sparklers!!! it was GREAT!!! i have only really known them for about 2 weeks and they went SO out of their way to make my bday memorable, it was so touching. comparing them to someone ive known for 2 years who didnt even say happy bday, i understood who truly was my friend. everyone that i celebrated my bday with minus the 3 who couldnt be there...those are all the people i will keep in touch with, will want to always have in my life...they truly made my bday something special that i will always remember. it was definitely a great way to start june. since then not much has happened. Chris my friend in the coast guard is back! yay..we've been talking nonstop and i hope to go see him soon. he has become really important to me!! he's such a great guy..i cant wait to spend time with him again. kirk and i also have hmmm figured things out and we're on good terms now. things had to get really bad though before they could get good...and im not saying they're great..i think both of us are doing a great job of pretending but in my head he's gone in 2 months..so whatever i have to do to make things less stressful at work..ill do. work is always work....we're going to be really busy after this sunday..new action alley is out and we have a visit with the vp at the end of the month. should be MIGHTY interesting. after that in july the corporate offices are doing a bus tour. so its going to be really hectic....oh well...staying busy is always good....and makes me want to work even harder. i got some time coming off to in the next two weeks..not sure what im going to do. wanted to go up and see chris but it wont work out...so i might go home. the only problem with that is that bethy will be in town for her bday...and i wanna be hear for that. AHHH!! so much to decide..i dont know what to do. i guess we'll see how things go..i actually need to bring my stupid car in the shop to make sure its ok. if its not up to the drive there is no way im going home. OMG..how could i forget!! the world cup started!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! its been great and its now even better that carolyn and i got cable!! woohoo..now i get to see the games in the comfort of my own bed!!! italy is in a bit of a bind...they won their first game but then they lost their second. of course them losing was COMPLETE bull but hey.....even the mighty fall sometimes. this world cup has been full of surprises.....but i have faith in them and they'll get themselves out of this jam and move along ok. the big game is tomorrow morning at 8am....i cant wait to see it. i'll be plopped outside in front of the tv to watch it!! so umm yeah..thats about it..really nothing has happened...just work, hanging with friends..enjoying my summer. next few weeks are going to be busy..im looking forward to them. so i FINALLY updated...you people can stop reminding me now!! hehehe..i promise to remember more often!!!!!! lilwolf 11:42 PM
