Sunday, November 18, 2001 its been a nice couple of days. my roomies left yesterday so i get to have the apt to myself for the next few days, its really nice. for the first time in a long time i feel really relaxed, odd isnt it? im pretty sure i know why, oh well. after they left yesterday i kinda just sat around doing nothing, reading....it was nice to just slack off. i ended up going to work around 1 for a few hours to catch up on some stuff which turned to be completely pointless. every time i go in there with a plan to do one thing, i end up doing another. so i stayed at work till around 4 and took off to justins since i was already late for the tech game. soooo... YAY HOKIES!!! we beat uva, our rival school!! it was a good game..glad to see tech getting back on their game. next..miami!!! after the game i got home and called cindy to finalize plans for the evening. she was going to come over and then we'd head downtown for a game of pool. before she came over i ended up calling chris! yayay. it was really nice to talk to him again, it had been awhile since i had. funny how two people can be thrown into each other again...the world is definitely smaller than you think. im looking forward to hanging out with him next week, should be tons of fun. cindy came over and we chilled for a bit and then invited justin over, after a bit we headed down to sharkeys. it had been awhile since ive seen sharkeys that quiet, but we still had a lot of fun. cindy is now convinced that im this great pool player now, she ended up telling everyone this at work today. hehe its all good though, i'll just have to live up to it!!! we left sharkeys around 1 and headed over to joe's for some food. cindy and i were making fun of each other because we both had to wake up early this morning for work. oh well, we both had fun and thought it was well worth it. by the time i got to bed (damn evil books) it was 2, and i had set my alarm to 5am so i could wake up and see the meteor shower. it was amazing, so many of them shooting across the sky..it was gorgeous. i could have stayed out there till the sun came out, but i managed to pry myself away and go back to bed so i could wake up 2 hours later for work. and thats how i got to today! woke up early for work and was there by 8:10....and got off at around 6. it was a long day, got lots done but ended up with a bad headache from it. it was just one of those days, so when i got home all i wanted to do was read and relax. turns out a friend got into an accident and called to make sure that he was ok, and he is. that was good news, even though their car was wrecked. I'M SORRY!! it will be ok, its in a better place! hehe. after that i called my mom to just chat and then i took off. laid down and read..soooooooooooo calming. i love just falling into a book, getting carried away...its great. of course now i have to go to bed early tonight so i wont be so zonked tomorrow, its going to be another really long day. but...2 more days and im for the weekend. thats something im really looking forward to.
