Monday, September 10, 2001 ok got reblogger up and running again. actually had to go and make a script change since they changed server. would have never known that if i didnt jump onto the discussion board on blogger and found it there, so thanx blogger!! this weekend was really nice, too short but it was nice. i love having jeremy down, it just cheers me up completely. we had a lot of fun this weekend, ended up hanging out with gerson and deanna a lot too. that was great, friday night we went over to gersons cause it was brians 20th bday. heh..everyone was pretty drunk and i ended up being dd for a lot of people. i didnt mind cause it was nice to see everyone so happy and having fun. gersons friends are really cool and i hope i get a chance to hang out with them more often, deanna definitely found a keeper. on saturday we went to the tech game which was awesome. jeremy had never gone to a home game before so it was a new experience for him. he said he liked it so im glad i got a chance to take him. I had a blast, i love football games, especially tech ones!! it was a great game and i got a sunburn from it but it was definitely worth it. we beat western michigan 31-0!! that makes our record 2-0 so far! YAYAYAYAY HOKIES!!! after the game we came back here and rested a bit, we were all pretty exhausted from the heat! after that we ended up going to kabuki for dinner! mmmmmmm it was so yummy, i love that place!!! gerson ordered some sushi and made us all taste it, i thought it was yummy! the food there is just great hehe im so glad we ended up going there. after that jeremy and i rented a video and just crashed for the rest of the night. it was really relaxing, i miss being able to do just that. some people dont understand how important just being able to watch tv with someone you care about is, and how so many people take it for granted. i will never ever take something like that for granted, it means way too much to me and i miss it like crazy. so after getting up on sunday around noon hehe, we headed out to get some breakfast at cracker barrel. another good restaurant with yummy food and fun games to play while you wait. its nice to share the lil things with someone. after that we headed over to walmart and then over to squires. jeremy wanted to play me in pool, so we shot a few games. heh..ill be honest and say he came out winning 3-2...but i wont say HOW he did it. *grumbles* it was a lot of fun though and we decided to rematch the next time he comes. after our games though he had to take off, it was already getting late and i didnt want him to leave too late. we came home and he remembered he had to burn a cd real quick, so while the computer did that he ended up reading the fraggle rock book i got him (for his early bday) out loud to me. it was great!! we got to chapter 3 so when i go up to see him he owes me the rest of the book!!! i hated saying goodbye to him after. it seems like each time he comes down we get so close and then we're ripped apart again..and when we see each other again it takes us a bit to adjust again. both of us get frustrated with it, we talked about it and we both came to the conclusion we'd rather have two days with each other a week than none at all. *sighs* it had been awhile since i found a guy who actually felt like that, to hear that made me feel really secure. maybe secure enough to start walking towards that next step....heh..who knows!? so for a great weekend, today really really sucked. got to work in a pretty decent mood since all had been going well there. i wasnt behind in anything since i got it all done on thursday and all i had to do was put out the recent shipment which wouldnt take too long. heh...guess how long that great mood lasted? about 5 mins after i clocked in and noticed the note saying our schedule was changed. seems that with budget cuts our hours got cut back, which means i went from 32-40 hours a week to just 24. grrr in short the raise i just got, means jack shit. it just frustrates me cause i was told that i was one of the few people they were allowed to keep at 32-40 hours a week and then i find out thats not true, and to add to it a girl who does absolutely nothing when she works, that has no specialty has 40 hours a week!!! GRRRRR!!!! so im going in tomorrow and telling that unless they increase my hours again they are going to be looking for a new kids specialist. there is no way im going to work my ass off for nothing when people who dont lift a finger get all the benefits. i am not going to play the fool. so ill let you know what happens with that tomorrow. as for other things mentioned in my last post concerning my grandmother, turns out she's doing ok. my mom and dad talked to her and she seems to be doing fine. so im hopeful that things will reamin like that and she'll be around for a few more years. i cant help but worry in the back of my mind but im trying my best to keep it there. another thing though is i havent talked to my cousin in awhile, im not sure what happened. i miss talking to him a lot, makes the distance seem that much bigger when you dont communicate as much. im going to send him the postcards he wanted soon, so hopefully ill get to talk to him again. i hope all is ok over there and nothing has happened. seems ive written quite a bit....some other stuff is on my mind but nothing that would make any sense right now. ive given y'all enough to read already so ill just go rest my fingers... lilwolf 7:30 PM
