Monday, March 19, 2001 back in bb.....so heres the breakdown on my weekend! Friday: after blogging we got ready to go out and got some subs at this place called Baldinos, they made really really good subs!! We had lunch then jeff, deanna and I headed to downtown savannah. Turns out the ht's (corps band) was playing down town and since Jeff used to be in it he wanted to go check it out. Let me say thank god Jeff was driving....it was NUTS down there. So many cars and none of them knew how to drive......i was having a heart attack sitting in the passenger seat....thinking my car was going to get hit! Ugh...took us about 45 mins to just find parking!! When we finally did we had missed them playing but a friend was up on stage singing and all of them were around the stage. It was really weird to be in savannah and be surrounded by people in hokie hats and shirts! Met a bunch of the guys there and they were really nice! After that we walked up and down the street a lil, you could tell that night was going to be crazy cause all the people had already begun to bring out the kegs and drinks. Looked like it was going to be one big keg party on river street. The night before the waitress had asked if we were going to go down there on st pattys night...turns out its like a mini mardi gras. Beads, boobs and all!! I wanted to check it out so we planned on going saturday night! After we left river street we headed out to Best Buy, Jeff had to pick up some stuff. We got a couple of dvds and then headed back to his place. We just chilled in his room for a bit, i chatted and they napped. We were meeting a couple of jeffs friends, shannon and nathan, for dinner at Bennigans. We had to wait awhile outside where we saw lots of people running around in kilts....pretty funny, I guess it was foreshadowing the following day. Our waitress was extremely scary!! She was this big woman who had these glow in the dark buttons right where her boobs were! GOD.....yer eyes just kinda shot there!! no way to avoid them!! it was really weird!! Dinner was good, and shannon and nathan were really cool. I couldnt believe she was 18 and he was 20 and they were already married!! We went to their place afterwards and just hung out there. They had a kitty named stormy who had the cutest lil meow! and shasha was their chihuahua-pug doggie. It was sooo cute but it had the worst breath ever!! It would drag itself around on this butt!! she was soooo adorable!! after that we just went back to jeffs room and crashed for the night. Saturday: We had made plans the night before to go to the st patricks day parade, so we got up around 9am. Deanna was going to stay in cause she was feeling bad from the allergies still, so it was just Jeff and I. Shannon and Nathan came to pick us up and we were off again. We had parked in a parking garage to save us the trouble of finding a parking space. Of course i forget my camera in the car and I have to go back to get it, so shannon and I tell the guys we're going to go do that and they said they were going to wait for us. So after we get back to the spot, guess what...no guys!! We didnt know where they went or what to do..we walked around the area hoping to find them but no go. So we assumed they had gone to meet lauren without us a couple of blocks down. Shannon and I had no idea where to go, i dont know the area and neither did she....so we just started walking and ended up asking two cops how to get there. We finally made it downa and were praying they were down there.....and sure enough there they were! We were so mad, we couldn't believe they left us!!! They said they had told us they were walking off but nooooooo....oh well. The parade finally got to where we were, it was really cool cause the HT's were right up front and we just yelled for them. They kicked major ass....i felt really good about being a hokie!! The parade was ok, really just a bunch of marching bands, so after 3 hours or so we got tired and decided to head back. We got dropped off at jeff's again and woke deanna up so we could get lunch. While she was showering we popped Armageddon (mmm ben affleck) in and watched it till she was done. Jeff took us to Denny's for dinner and after we came back to chill for a lil while before meeting nathan and shannon at the bus stop. When we finally found them and got to river street it was CRAZY!! So many people just walking and drinking.....girls flashing people for beads, up on balconies, on the street....everywhere!! I saw more than my share of boobs....it was nuts. We stopped every once in awhile to listen to the music, it was really cool.....though it didn't seem everyone was into it. So we left...*shrugs* we ended up just going home and watching the end of armageddon. I was in a off mood...thinking about lots of things and letting it get to me. i'll get into that later......I was asleep by 1:30 or so...we were going home the next day. Sunday: ok we got up at 9.....we were out by 10. When we left we decided we weren't going to stop at South of the Border..it was too out of the way, we'd do it some other time. By the time we were on 95 and saw all the signs.....we had to! This of course was after our many stops to take pics, which i will have up soon!! Including in them are pics of savannah, the giant globe(hehe), and sebastians gentleman club!! So we go to South of the Border......and we end up staying there for 2 hours! Deanna and I had so much fun. Half the time we were running around taking pics and the other time we were running around buying gifts for friends. When we finally left it was around 4pm.....we kept driving and I was getting kinda worried cause I didn't see our exit. We stopped off at a rest area and realized that we had missed it a ways back, so we stopped bought a map, got lunch and planned our ride home. let me say one thing NORTH CAROLINA SUCKS!!! and greensboro is the worst. we spent at least 9 hours in the damn state, i thought i was going to cry when we finally crossed over into virginia! Deanna and I had been in the car for 12.5 hours!! by the time we got to justins we were so hysterical and hyper due to the caffeine and hours trapped in the car. We were just rambeling!! I seriously think we scared justin, hehe, after that we came home and hung out here for a bit..then justin took deanna home! It was really odd being back here and sleeping in my bed again. I definitely missed deanna and jeff! After they left I was just chilling in my room trying to relax, I had taken a nice long shower and was talking to steph. Ended up talking to John again cause AIM went down.....that was fun. I finally crashed around 3am....what a long long day. which leads to today: woke up around noon...was completely exhausted (still am) and just relaxed a bit. talked with steph and played with arizona who i missed VERY much!! i later went out to lunch with justin!! woowoo he treated me to anthonys!! it was yummmmmmmy!! we ended up staying there for awhile cause they were playing gone in 60 seconds and we caught it at the best time, right when they were boosting all the cars! so we watched till it was over!! then i went to foxridge to talk to someone but she wasn't there so i'll try again tomrrow. so then i came here and i've been here all afternoon. ugh what a day......have had way too much time to just sit around and think......which is never good. I've been thinking about this guy all day, I dont know why I do this to myself, because everyone says I shouldn't but I do. He means a lot to me, there are strong feelings there but those aside he's someone i considered a good friend. Now...I dont know......he never talks to me, he never wants to hang out....everytime I ask or suggest anything he makes me feel like im not worth 5 mins of his time. I dont know if he's doing it to push me away, cause he's scared, natural reaction..or he just doesn't want to be friends. Ugh either way it hurts, it makes me feel so bad. We shared something....we were getting so close and I needed someone I could run to....talk to, call when I was down....he was great, now..now I dont know....he's like all the other guys. nice to me, uses me for something, walks all over me.......then hurts me =[ so why do i keep asking for more??
