Sunday, February 11, 2001 im behind on whats been going on......and I really didn't post anything last time....other than those quiz responses!! so here i am to catch up!!! Wednesday, February 07, 2001 i cant really remember what I did, other than 4-h!! soooo.....YAY 4-h started!! about time...i've been waiting since it ended last semester for it to start back up. I didn't realize how much i missed the kids till i saw them again! The day before Chris had let us know that he needed amy and I to help out more because bonnie and jess couldn't make it on wednesday.....so we had extra responsibilities!! We got there around 3:15 (doesn't start till 3:30 officially) and bunches of kids were already there. Chris let us know what to do and showed us that we needed to get roll for each grade. Im in charge of the 1st graders this semester (yay) and Justin is going to be helping me out (double yay)!! I got to see a bunch of the kids from last time while we were waiting for things to start! God they are so cute....two of the lil kidy-kids saw my tongue and asked why i had a ring in it! I was so shocked...i had completely forgotten....but they just kept asking questions like if it hurts to eat...or did it hurt to have it done! I told them no and they got even more interested and asked me to stick out my tongue.....so for about 5 mins i sat there with my tongue out while they stared! it was sooooooo cute!!! After we broke up into grades and started the project of the day which was to make take-home folders! they got to decorate them with anything they wanted.....some of the kids got really creative!! in the middle of all that a couple kids started calling me anna-banana....which is fine hehe and i turned around to see what was up. Of course one of the lil kids came up to me and asked why my parents had named me after a fruit!! lol it was soooooo cute.....i had to tell him that my name was anna and not banana......he finally understood......then two mins later asked me if they could call me monster moo! i had noooooo idea where that came from!! kids....hehe! After the project and snack we got to go outside....thats where will (one of my 1st graders) told me how he was going to have to time travel......I just kept nodding my head he didn't seem to notice i was lost! In my opinion the hour went way to quickly, as soon as we started it was time to leave!! I had such a great time....i cant explain how sharing one hour of those kids time make everything so trivial. They dont have any cares in the world....and when they reach out and grab your hand......god...its the greatest feeling in the world. I look forward each week for it being tuesday and wednesday so I can see them again! I missed them!!! After we got home....amy, steph, justin and I all decided to go to india garden for dinner! It was really yummy.....I was excited to try something new. I had never eaten indian food before so i was kinda nervous but everything was so delicious!! I seriously dont know what they put into ur food because by the time we were munching on yummy rice pudding (grins at steph) we were laughing so hard that we were crying. We seriously sat there for a good 15-20mins laughing...and none of us could remember what for!! It was great....i had a great time!! after that we just went home and chilled.....heh..thats all i can honestly remember now! (that will teach me to no blog right away) Thursday, February 08, 2001 nothing really spectacular happened.....not that i can remember.....maybe i will and then repost. I pretty much just hung out at home...thats why you got all the quizes! I did have an interesting conversation with someone.....and I think everything worked out ok. Not sure...im weary of anyone right now....but it seems ok. I guess i'll have to see. Friday, February 09, 2001 Woke up kinda out of it....had this odd dream about steph. I guess it weirded me out......blah i hate when i have dreams you just cant shake! I was pretty much out of it all day cause my parents pissed me off.....they haven't put rent money in yet...and i have NO idea what im going to do. Just pray this works out by monday! In the afternoon amy, steph and I went to walmart. We had to pick up some stuff for the kitten and amy needed food....we also picked up some materials for valentines. It was a strained trip to walmart cause i know steph and I were both upset.......but we made it back home. After that we kinda just chilled....we weren't sure of our plans that night.....steph was upset and I didn't really wanna leave without her. We ended up on the porch being serenaded by our neighbors (singing a song saying "fuck you merissa") it was really odd....we both felt like we were in a movie. We ended up talking and steph began to feel better and decided to go out that night with deanna and i (yay). At around 9, we were starting to get ready but then ended up watching this really interesting thing on dateline...lol....we were glued to the tv. So we didn't get downtown till around 10:30...deanna had been there for awhile and was in full swing. It was a lot of fun......tons of friends down there and we just sat down, got a drink and relaxed. Soon steph and I were up to play pool and kicked butt for a couple of rounds. At the very end we were playing extremely well and managed to kick these two guys (complete assholes) butts! YEAH!! we rock (gives steph a ^5) We ended up playing against this one guy who was AMAZING!! He was playing us the whole time.......telling me that we should be easy on him...when the entire time he's sitting there shooting with one hand.....calling these crazy shots and making them. He was absolutely awesome! At the end of our game he talked to me and commented that he saw me before and that i was pretty good.....he said that i should get my own cue and i could become a hustler. Man....a compliment like that from him was so cool....I felt like strutting around!! I hope i bump into him again...i'd love to play him one on one some time and get some more pointers from him. We ended up staying till 2...and then headed to an after party for a bit with sal. We had a good time...played some more pool and just chatted. Around 3, Sal took us home cause deanna had to meet up with joel. It was a long night but we all had a blast and were happy that we went out. Saturday, February 10, 2001 After going to bed at 4am...i got up at noon today. Well...actually i got a kitten thrown on me.....amy was afraid to wake me up herself so she sacraficed the kitten! We had plans to go to mountain lake..and she wanted to know if i was still up to going, and I was. I had asked justin if he wanted to go with us the night before (he seemed kinda down and thought he could use some cheering up) and he was up for it too! So.........around 12:30 we all set out for mountain lake! YAY!! If you dont know mountain lake is where they filmed part of dirty dancing (rar my fave movie that i know all the lines too). It was absolutely gorgeous....but the resort was closed so we really couldn't walk around....we'll have to go back later so i can show them the pier and gazebo from the movie!! We drove up past the resort and headed up to the campsite...amy had wanted to go there. It was really windy but really pretty!! We took tons of pics (when i get them up i'll link ya) After that we were going to go back home to eat ( i was starving) but we took a slight detour to pandapas pond. I had heard really nice things about it from josh so we made the detour to check it out, im glad we did. It was a lot of fun.....we just walked around the pond and took TONS of pics of us goofing around. After that we headed downtown to eat lunch and ended up going to boudreaux, this canjun restaurant. It was really yummy except the service was terrible!! Then we headed out and just walked around going into shops. We went into the clothes rack, this lil boutique.....and heh.....they had some interesting stuff. You walk past all the cool candles, incense burners, chimes and jewerly and you ended up on wall of sex toys! lol....it was nuts!! The people running the store certainly didn't look like people who would sell that stuff...but they did!! They had boxes full of dildos.....i couldn't stop laughing!! amy and i bought some stuff (car stickers, a necklace and some barrettes for steph) then headed out again.....we just went to other stores. Both amy and justin ended up buying some cds before we headed home. After that i kinda just chilled in my room and watched Parent Trap....i was tired hehe. Amy asked if i wanted to go get some coffee so we went off to do that. We ended up going to espresso corner. Heh......what an odd day......we were sitting there drinking our coffee when this guy just randomly comes up to us and asks if we could blow smoke on him. How odd huh? he seemed to be a high schooler having an extremely hazy and bad night. Hopefully things will work out for him! After our coffee we came back here and made valentines! yay.....it was a lot of fun.....i have no idea who im giving them too....but they were fun to make!! Now its 5am in the morning and im still up.....rrrrr.....there is this sad lil 29 year old in our channel.........pathetic.....he tried to take it over or something. I dont know...reminded me of the lil 15 year old hackers when i worked for MSN......they always pulled that stuff.......i hope to god this guy really isn't 29!!! lilwolf 5:03 AM
