Monday, December 25, 2000 merry xmas everyone! i hope y'all had a better xmas then i did! Lets go back a few....yesterday was a lot of fun...mostly cause stephy came down and I hung out with her all day!! We had a blast shopping and I think I drove her nuts going from store to store. We ended up getting everyone something and praying everyone liked it. I got my oldest brother rico a candle and a tiger poster, my other older brother renato a nautica hat with an IOU for a necklace I saw, my lil brother Sandro got a sketch book, colored pencils and a set of charcoal pencils, my father got a bottle of cologne (aramis) and my mother got a 12 piece stainless steel set of pots. Haha ask steph....that was the worst thing to have to carry around in a mall.....it was heavy and big...and EVERY freaking slow person decides to walk right in front of you when yer trying to sprint to the exit. that is the very last time I shop on xmas eve day!!! we ended up meeting that friend I was talking about...he was really nice....shy though. I think Steph and I scared him a bit...but then again like she said...who dont we scare? I guess any guy I meet will have to realize how steph and I are hehe....especially together....oh well....thats so far in the future (or most likely never to happen) i shouldn't even worry about it. After shopping steph helped me wrap moms gift and then she had to take off for home to get to work on time.....I just ended up wrapping gifts and working till the whole family arrived. Thats when we had our big seafood xmas eve dinner. It was rather yummy..all and all it was a great day. now to xmas day...i woke up in a great mood....opened up all my gifts (a really nice sweater and fleece, a jacket thats too small and will be returned, a power planner orgainzer, a ring, a glass elephant, and a really nifty nautica duffel bag) and then drooled over sandros dvd player and stereo....wish i was the baby of the family!! Everything was great till I saw the gifts renato got from his girl....just made me realize how lonely I was...and how much i missed being with someone. That put me in the worst mood ever......i finally got myself all dressed up to go to church...only for my father, sandro and I to realize there is no noon mass....so we turned around and came home...of course that was after they turned the lights off in the church. In a matter of an hour or two we sat down to our xmas dinner...it was nice....traditional italian meal. We called our family in italy and sent our holiday wishes. Another thing that got me down too was finding out my great uncle died..I dont really remember much of my extended family because I was in italy when i was so much younger. The memories are scattered....but I have strong memories of him and his wife...they' d always come see us and bring us chocolates. Its sad to know he's not there anymore. *sighs* After all that we (rico, renato, dad, arizona, lucia and I) ended up all napping in our separate rooms...I guess we were all tired. After waking up to my kitten arizona bathing my face......I went to work....ARGH! we wont even say how much that sucked....5 hours staring at a blank room.....ugh ugh ugh! Now its just me sitting here updating this...talking with friends....tomorrow hopefully will be better! Justin is coming up to hang with us (steph and i) which is always a good thing. all in all this day was pretty crummy.......great to have the whole family together.....i miss that....and dont realize how much I do till we're all there. Hopefully before i leave it will happen again. I guess thats it for now before I start going off on random tangents!! pray my day tomorrow is better! puhleaseeeeee!! lilwolf 11:33 PM
